Gaming mouse size chart

The database has 99 gaming mice with published measurements, sorted here from shortest to longest. Lengths run from 100.2 mm (Razer Pro Click Mini) to 131.4 mm (Logitech G502 X Plus). Widths run from 57 mm to 88 mm and heights from 34.2 mm to 79 mm. By the length rule below, 9 are small, 50 medium and 40 large.

How we class a size

These classes are ours, and they go by length alone: small is under 118 mm, medium is 118 to 125 mm, and large is over 125 mm.

Hand size and grip matter more than the class; use this as a starting point.

How to measure your hand

Hand length is the tip of your middle finger to the crease where your palm meets your wrist, with your hand flat and your fingers straight. Hand width is measured across the knuckles, not counting the thumb.

Mouse size for hand size

A common rule of thumb for picking a starting size by hand length:

Hand lengthMouse length
Under 17 cmSmall — under 118 mm
17–19 cmMedium — 118 to 125 mm
Over 19 cmLarge — over 125 mm

This is a rule of thumb people pass around, not a measurement of anything. Grip style moves it: a claw or fingertip grip usually wants a shorter mouse than a palm grip on the same hand.

Medium mice (118–125 mm)50 mice
